In the mid 1990's UDS Green Industry Software, Inc. decided that DOS software running on Microsoft networks was nearing the end of its product life. We began an extensive search for a new operating system and program development platform. If you jump ahead to today and look back it is an easy decision but back then it was a very difficult decision and a bad choice could spell doom for the company.

We agonized over our choices until we decided on Visual Basic and the new Windows software. The system design developed at that time has worked to carry UDS into the next century and integrate the applications with the Internet.
